Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure Visits Souk Ahras
As part of the field monitoring of the works on the Eastern Mining Railway Line Project, the President and CEO of INFRARAIL, accompanied by the company’s executives, welcomed the Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Mr. Abdelkader Djaouali, at the fourth station located in the Zaârouria area, Souk Ahras Province.
During this field visit, the Minister inspected the renewal works of the existing railway track over a distance of 34 km, reviewing the progress of the works and their level of on-site implementation.
The Minister emphasized the need to accelerate the pace of construction, while ensuring compliance with applicable technical standards and maintaining high-quality standards, in order to contribute to the completion of the project within the निर्धारित timeframe.
The INFRARAIL teams continue their field efforts and mobilization to deliver this strategic project, which will contribute to strengthening the railway transport network and increasing phosphate transportation capacity, highlighting the importance of railway infrastructure projects in the country’s economic development.
